Presently developing cell models which can describe pattern formation in autothermal reactors due to thermokinetic multiplicity. Conventionally used continuum models (CFD) are unable to show particle level multiplicity and hence do not predict patterns and hotspots in reactors. We establish limits for parameter values for stable pattern formation. Publication in progress.
